How Suffolk Dropped Kerbs & Driveways collects, uses and shares the information you give us through this website, by phone or by email.

Last updated: October 2026

Who we are

Suffolk Dropped Kerbs & Driveways arranges site visits, takes measurements, obtains quotations and coordinates dropped kerb and driveway projects across Ipswich and Suffolk. The work itself is carried out by independent contractors. For the purposes of data protection law, we are responsible for the personal information you send us. You can contact us by email at info@tcsuffolk.com or by phone on 07933 767648.

What we collect

When you send a quote request or contact us, we collect the information you choose to give us:

  • your name, property address, postcode, phone number and email address, and how you prefer to be contacted
  • details and measurements of your project, your answers to the quote questions and any comments you add
  • photographs and documents you upload, such as pictures of your driveway, kerb or property

Please avoid uploading photos that clearly show other people or information you don't need to share. We don't ask for payment or bank details on this website.

How we use it

  • to respond to your enquiry and give you a guide price
  • to arrange a site visit, take measurements and obtain a quotation for your project
  • to help with council paperwork for dropped kerb applications, if you ask us to
  • to coordinate your project with the contractor who carries out the work
  • to keep a record of enquiries and projects, and to deal with any questions or complaints

We don't sell your information and we don't use it to send you marketing.

Sharing your information with independent contractors

Because the work is carried out by independent contractors, we share the relevant details of your enquiry with the contractor selected to quote for or carry out your project. This usually includes your name, contact details, property address, project details, measurements and photographs. We only share what the contractor needs to prepare a quotation, visit the site and do the work.

We will tell you which contractor will carry out your project. Once you agree work with that contractor, they are also responsible for how they use your information for that work, including payment, insurance and any guarantee they provide.

Other organisations we use

  • Website, hosting and storage providers, which host this website and store the enquiries and photos you send.
  • An email delivery provider, which sends us a notification when a new enquiry arrives.
  • Suffolk County Council or your local planning authority, only if you ask us to help with an application, and only the details the application needs.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they provide under UK data protection law.

Our lawful basis

We use your information because you have asked us to help with a quotation or project. This means we're taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and we have a legitimate interest in arranging and coordinating the work you've asked about. We keep records where we need to for legal, accounting or insurance reasons.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows, and for a reasonable period afterwards to answer questions and meet our legal obligations. Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted when we no longer need them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • delete your information, or restrict how we use it
  • stop using your information where we rely on legitimate interests

To make a request, email info@tcsuffolk.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Information you enter in the quote calculator stays in your browser until you send it.
